Happy Sunday readers,
This is where I would typically apologize for not being on my blog grind...but I'm not gonna lie to you and do that.
I've been loving this period between business school admission and school starting.
Now believe me when I tell you, moving to New York has reignited my passion for blogging, and sharing my journey with you. So with this renewed vigor, I've set a blogging schedule for myself (can't wait to see how this goes once core classes starts), found a new home, and I've started brainstorming topics. I can't wait to tell you about CBS world tour, feeling like Elle Woods (Legally Brunette, Businessly Blonde ?!?), juggling everything, what I hope to pursue, internships, what to wear to class, and the list goes on. Also, this blog has moved to a new home.
In the mean time, be on the lookout Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for new posts, stories, experiences, and random nonsense that passes through my head. Head over to www.missusatomba.com
I appreciate you all for taking this journey with me. I can't wait to see where this blog goes, I go, and we all go on this journey together.
XOXO,
MacKenzie

Pageant-versary
This past December marked my 5 year crowning anniversary.
5 years that have flown by incredibly fast since, my paradigm shifted drastically.
I've shared my story before in countless outlets (even previous posts).
But rather than head down memory lane, I wanted to share what I wore to my 5 year anniversary.
I wanted to take the opportunity to show my evolution. I didn't want to go bodycon dress, because that always feels like the national pageant uniform. I didn't want to go black, because that's the boring DC staple, and I didn't want insane sparkle because I wanted to go a different route.
As always here are links to similar styles (that are a little more budget friendly)
Dress: Christian Siriano
Shoes: Gold YSL tributes
Bag: Judith Leiber Clutch
Ring: Diamond Cocktail Ring
Earrings: Diamond Chandelier Earrings
XOXO,
MacKenzie
